Welcome to the home of the Li Family Style in South Wales
The Li (pronounced 'Lee') Family system has been taught in and around the town of
Swansea for many decades and there are currently many different 'flavours' of the
Li system being taught, with the head of each system being, at one time, a student
of the late Professor Chee Soo.
The Taoist Arts Organisation
is one such organisation, headed up by one of Chee Soo's more Senior Instructors,
Tony Swanson.
The Li Style is a complete System, incorporating Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Chi Shu, and takes many years to learn and as such
people wanting a 'quick' martial art will probably find that the Li system will
not meet their needs.
However, if you are willing to spend time perfecting your posture, stance, technique,
breathing and focus then you will find that the depths of the system will slowly
unfold as your knowledge and practice deepen.
